Description

The Republic of Kenya is a country on the eastern African coast. The boarder countries are Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Sudan with the Indian Ocean running along the Southeast boarder. This country continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees. The Peaberry bean is a kind of bean that is oval in shape rather than the usual pair shaped flat-sided beans. The Peaberry bean produces a somewhat different, often better cup than normal beans from the same crop, from which they may be separated during grading. The wonderful aroma is delicately complex with honey, flowers, sweet lemon, and berry flavors. Out of the Thousands of coffees submitted to Coffee Review over the past 10 years, only 15 coffees have hit 95 points or higher and this Peaberry was one of them.
